GAME SCHEDULES
Customarily, Baseball and Softball Tee Ball (K3 and K3-K4), Coach Pitch Baseball 5 (K4), and Softball Coach Pitch k5 – 1st Grade games will be played on Saturdays. All other divisions will play on weeknights. Game schedules will be distributed and posted by March 14.
PLAYER EVALUATIONS
Some age division commissioners will conduct player evaluation before setting teams. None of those evaluations have been set, but if the division commissioner decides to have evaluations, the evaluations will likely take place between February 7 – February 20. The division commissioners will keep you posted.
PRACTICES
Practice schedules will not be issued until teams are selected. Your child’s coach will email you the date/time of your child’s assigned practice slot(s).
TOURNAMENTS
Some divisions will participate in the Team Tait Tournament at the end of the season. The division commissioners will work with coaches in each division to determine age appropriateness for a tournament. This tournament will only include teams participating in the NJYB spring season.
EQUIPMENT
NJYB will provide your son/daughter with a uniform (hat/visor, jersey, socks). You will be responsible for your son’s/daughter’s pants/shorts/skirt, cleats, glove, and helmet. You may also want to provide your child his/her own bat, but that is not required.
